We’re hard at work on the bar and live music area behind the Pizza Pub and will be open as soon as we can!
While most people in Johnson City knew it as the Casbah, the bar was originally named “The Pub Out Back” in the 1980s.
While our staff was cleaning out a storage area we found the sign pictured here, and we thought it would be a cool way to create a new venue while keeping the history of what has always made the Pizza Pub unique.
We want to be your neighborhood bar! Our vision for The Pub Out Back is a relaxed place to have a $2 slice of pizza and a $3 beer, see live bands and hang out on a patio.
